Frasers Group has snapped up a 4.54% stake in N Brown, according to recently-filed paperwork with the London Stock Exchange.
The retail huge launched by billionaire Mike Ashley has taken a stake in the Manchester-headquartered style team which owns makes which includes Simply just Be, JD Williams and Jacamo.
Frasers Team, which is now run by Mr Ashley’s son-in-legislation Michael Murray, has acquired a quantity of models in the latest many years, most lately Studio Retail Group which Frasers snapped up immediately after it collapsed into administration.

Back in June, it purchased Missguided out of administration for £20million, beating off level of competition from Boohoo.
